Join us at the Historic World War II Hanger at the airport to explore the world of UAVs, or unmanned aerial vehicles. Kids will get the chance to learn skills in the realms of electronics, robotics, programming, and flight.

Summer 2023 classes:

Week 1: Sphero (6 to 8 years old)

Learn about programming and robotics using Scratch and Sphero robots.

 

Week 2: Sphero (9 to 13 years old)

Learn about programming and robotics using Scratch and Sphero robots.

 

Week 3: Snap Circuit Arduino  (12 to 16 years old)

Use Snap Circuits to prototype electronics then program your circuit using Arduino. This workshop is a good introduction to the Arduino programming environment which may be used for robotics, scientific research, and even interactive art.

 

Week 4: Things that Fly (10 to 16 years old)

Join us at the Pendleton Airport to build your own flying model airplane! Kits will be provided and instruction given to walk you through construction and flight test, step-by-step.
