Pete Wells Memorial Aquatic Scholarship

This summer the Pendleton Aquatic Center will be working toward raising money for a new program aimed at providing scholarships to children from low-income families. Pete Wells was a strong advocate for swimming, youth, equity, and Pendleton. This scholarship program would open up opportunities for children in Pendleton to learn swimming, when they otherwise would not have been able to, making their lives both safer and more fun. Many of our events this summer will be working towards funding this important project.

Pete Wells Memorial Swim Lessons Scholarship Application - available soon!

Duck Races- Starting July 1st, buy a duck(s) and watch them race down the slides on our annual Aquatic Blast day. First duck down the slide wins its owner a free pool pass for 2024. Ducks will be available to purchase at the Aquatic Center throughout July. Proceeds will go toward funding the new Pete Wells Memorial Scholarship program. Money raised will help endow scholarships for low-income families so that all children have the opportunity to learn how to swim.
