This program is not currently being offered due to low participation. If you are interested in the program starting up again, please express your interest via email, phone call, or social media. 

 

Rules and Guidelines: (Failure to comply with rules will result in exclusion from future sessions)

  1. All of the City of Pendleton’s Core Values must be followed.
    1. We will have a poster of core values on gym wall.
  2. First come, first serve
    1. First 10 players to sign in will play in the first game.
    2. Players will shoot for teams.
    3. If there are not 10 players, start the game 4 v 4
      1. As new players arrive they may join the game to make teams even. (Reword)
  3. No one will sit for more than 2 games.
    1. If there are less than 5 players waiting for next game, the winning team stays and losing team shoots to fill remaining sports.
    2. If there are more than 5 players (but less than 10) the winning team will shoot between themselves to fill remain spots.
    3. If 10 or more players waiting, 2 new teams on the court.
  4. Games are played to 11 points
    1. 1 point per basket inside the 3-point line, 2 points per basket outside 3-point line.
    2. Must win game by 2 points
  5. Fouls
    1. Call your own foul-Don’t call fouls unless you are fouled
    2. Any disputes will be settled by shooting from 3-point line.
      1. Recreation Center Gym attendant has final say if dispute can’t be settled.
  6. Recreation Center Gym attendant on duty reserves the right to dismiss players who are not following drop in basketball rules or the city of Pendleton’s core values.

If you are asked to leave the gym, please do so promptly. The Gym attendant will give you the Recreation Supervisor contact if you wish to discuss further.
