Our mission here at Pendleton Parks and Recreation is to enhance the quality of life for the citizens and visitors of Pendleton by delivering exceptional park, recreation, aquatic and cemetery services. We work hard to provide a wide variety of youth programs and sports to meet the needs of this community and it's visitors.
After School Program
The After School Program is a collaboration with Pendleton Parks and Recreation, Pendleton School District, and InterMountain Educational Services District. The program is intended for families who want a fun, engaging, experience for their kids from the time schools ends until 5:30pm.

Play equipment and family-friendly music offer a great environment for your little one to burn off some steam. Parents are encouraged to interact, but required to be present.
Tot Time is every Monday 10m - 11am at the Recreation Center, unless otherwise posted. See our Facebook page for most current updates.
Itty - Bitty Sports
Itty Bitty Sports Sampler (Formally Start Smart Sports Development Program) is a developmentally appropriate introductory sports program for children 3-5 years old. The program prepares children for organized sports, in a fun non-threatening environment without the threat of competition or getting hurt. The focus will be on throwing, catching, batting, and kicking. The program for 5 one-hour Sunday sessions. Equipment is provided during the program.
Register for the Itty Bitty Sports Sampler
The Recreation Center gym is a great place for kids to have some energetic fun with friends and family. Come inside to enjoy badminton, dodgeball, volleyball, basketball, ping pong, foosball or pool. For additional fun (and fee), you can add the bouncy house, glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, or Nerf Gun Obstacle Course (bring your own Nerf Guns).
Please call our office at 541-276-8100 to reserve the gym for our birthday party package. Currently, we are only offering this package on Saturdays.

Our youth basketball program features leagues for both boys and girls from 1st grade through 6th grade. The program focuses on skill development and promoting a love of sports and active recreation. For More information, visit our PYB Page.
Rookies Indoor Soccer
Back for year 3 is our indoor youth soccer league. This league is an amazing introduction to the sport of soccer. Not only will your child develop the basic skills of the sport they will leave the value of teamwork, sportsmanship, and relationship building. Our 6-week league will be broken down into practices for the first 2 weeks and then games throughout the last 4 weeks.
All-Comers Youth Track Meet
In early May, Pendleton Parks and Recreation hosts a spring track meet for the family. This is a FREE event thanks to wonderful volunteers. Events like the 25-meter dash, 50 meter dash, standing long jump, and softball throw are just a few of the fun events for walking to 12-year-olds!
