NOTICE: Monument orders will be affected by winter weather
With the changing of the weather, Olney Cemetery staff would like to remind families of a few important items.
As the weather turns colder, our stone company, Memorial Monuments, would like to pass along some important information regarding stone orders, settings, and engravings. All orders will be processed throughout the winter months, but may not be completed until sometime in the spring of 2018 due to weather issues. They are unable to give a completion date. However, if there is a break in the weather suitable for setting stones, they will set them; otherwise they will be on the lot waiting for the spring rush. All stones on the lot over the winter are set first before new stones ordered for Memorial Day arrive. If we have a winter and early spring like we did for 2017, there may be delays in setting stones once the weather begins to warm up due to soft, muddy grounds and locations where stones are to be set.
Custom stone orders are an exception to this as they may take 3-4 months for the stones to arrive from quarries for blasting.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.
We take great pride and care in helping you design a stone to meet your family's desires. We have a wide range of memorials available in varied colors, shapes, materials, and price ranges. We carry flat stones, upright stones, benches and now also carry pet markers and cremation stones. We can design any size and shape to meet your needs.
Stop by our office next to Olney Cemetery where you can see stone samples, carving details, and photos of completed monuments for inspiration.
You may also want to consider a memorial bench or tree.
