2019 Summer Swim Lessons

One instructor is assigned to each group of 4 swimmers. If youth volunteers are available, they will assist the instructor with skill instruction. Participants with serious water adjustment concerns should be entered in Parent/Tot classes or arrange for private instruction. Classes meet Monday - Thursday for two weeks. Schedule of classes can be found in our activity guide which typically comes out the end of April.

Pre-Registration Day 2019

  • Wednesday, May 29, 5:00-7:00 pm, PARKS OFFICE, 865 Tutuilla Road.
  • Saturday, June 1, 12:00-3:00 pm, PARKS OFFICE, 865 Tutuilla Road

Class Registration

Beginning June 3, after the pre-registration days above, you can register for swim lessons through our online system. Click on the orange "Register/Reserve" button at the top right corner of the screen. You can also work with the pool to schedule swim lessons at 541-276-0104 from Noon to 8:00 pm. Or stop by the pool during lesson hours and ask to speak with the lesson coordinator.

Class Fees & Session - 2019

Pendleton city residents, $45/session; private lessons, $70; Double session lessons, $80. For private lessons, call 541-276-0104 during open hours at the Aquatic Center.  Class schedules and descriptions can be found in the online registration system.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are customized to each swimmers ability and comfort level. Skills from multiple levels may be taught at the same time. Your teach will develop a lesson plan with a specific skill set based on your swimmer's current ability. Private lessons are available for all lesson levels depending on instructor availability. Private lessons are four (4) 45 long classes.

Survival Swim

An adult class that teaches the fundamentals of staying afloat. Becoming confident around water is the goal. Learn basic rescue skills along with familiarity with pools.
