Ice Rink Opens Dec 2


The Roy Raley Ice Rink will open this Saturday, December 2 for public skate. 

We appreciate your patience during the delay in opening, and we look forward to seeing you at the rink soon!

Tobacco-Free Parks

City of Pendleton Parks are now Tobacco-Free!

Pendleton Parks and Recreation is excited to join other Oregon park systems in becoming 100% tobacco-free. This policy supports our mission to promote healthy lifestyles and environments for residents and park visitors in Pendleton.

2017 Winter Activity Guide

Now that Halloween is right around the corner, the leaves have changed color, and the temperature is dropping, we are gearing up for winter programming and events! The 2017 Winter Activity Flyer is out now. It has information about what's happening in November and Decemeber.

Winter Restroom Schedule

For the winter season, we must winterize and close park restrooms that are not heated. We have begun that process and will update this post daily with which are open and which are closed. Drinking fountains must all be turned off for the cold weather season.

Now that the Labor Day holiday is behind us, the pool has closed for the season, and school is in full swing, we are gearing up for the Pendleton Round-Up and our fall programming and events. The 2017 Fall Activity Flyer is out.

Goals Reached: Pendleton Plant 1000 Trees

The Pendleton Plant 1000 Trees inaiitave begin in 2009 to celebrate Arbor Day. The goal was to increase the track trees that were planted in City parks and community backyards alike! We are happy to announce that that milestone has been reached! 


Now, we are going to continue to inaititve and up the ante to 2,000 trees! So, if you have planted a tree or plan to plant a tree, please let us know here. We want to count it toward our goal, and we will have a tree giveaway every 100 trees.
